Mumbai: Once again Praveen Darekar's victory flag is hoisted on the state's largest Mumbai District Cooperative Bank.
Darekar-led co-operative panel has won all 21 seats in the Mumbai Bank Election. Panel candidates were elected unopposed on 17 seats, while elections were held on 4 seats.
The candidates of the cooperative panel have also won the seats on which the elections were held. Even after Praveen Darekar was accused of scam, his one-sided dominance over Mumbai Bank has been established.
The counting of votes for 4 seats was done on Monday. After the results were declared, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Praveen Darekar thanked all the voters.

A co-operative panel headed by Darekar was constituted for the Mumbai District Co-operative Bank elections. In which candidates of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP were included, but 4 candidates of Shiv Sena retained their candidature.
Elections were held for 4 seats. Abhijit Ghoshalkar, Sunil Raut, Abhijit Adsul and Shilpa Sarpotdar of Mumbai Bank were the official candidates of the Shiv Sena, while Kamalakar Naik rebelled and lost.
Shiv Sena's rebel candidates Sujata Patekar, Sanjana Ghadi and Sneha Kadam had withdrawn from the election. Vitthalrao Bhosale of the cooperative panel has won from the Central Consumer Organization constituency in the 4 seats where elections were held.
Purushottam Dalvi from Primary Consumer Constituency, Jayshree Panchal from Mahila Sahakari Samiti Constituency and Anil Gajre from Reserved Constituency have won.
"The associates of Mumbai Bank have full faith in us". Praveen Darekar said that many people had leveled allegations regarding the Mumbai District Cooperative Bank.
Attempts were made to defame Mumbai Bank and us, but the associates of Mumbai Bank have full faith in us. By meeting the norms of NABARD, RBI, cooperative accounts, Mumbaikars took the bank forward.
Because of which the voters gave 100 percent support without being misled by anyone. The voters have put their stamp on the functioning of the bank.
